Are You Missing God’s Will… While Sitting in Church?
There’s a line in the old movie Auntie Mame:
“Life’s a banquet — and most poor suckers are starving to death.”
That’s not just Mame’s vibe. That’s Jesus’ vibe too.
He turned weddings into wine festivals. He walked on raging seas. He flipped tables in the middle of holy celebrations. His life reads like an adventure novel — not a beige instruction manual for “just being nice.”
So why do so many Christians feel spiritually starved? Why does God’s will feel stuck in our lives?
The Safest Place to Miss God’s Will: A Church Pew
Jesus Didn’t Refurbish Religion — He Wrecked It
When Jesus walked into the temple and saw the moneychangers, He didn’t quietly suggest a policy change. He braided a whip and flipped tables. He shattered the illusion that God’s will can fit inside comfort zones.
Today, we’ve sanitized that moment. We’ve built a “church furniture showroom,” hoping to impress rather than obey. But the gospel has always been disruptive:
Jesus didn’t come to polish tables — He overturned them.
He didn’t recruit pew warmers — He called storm-walkers.
He didn’t manage optics — He moved in power.
If God’s will feels distant, it’s not because heaven went silent.
It’s because we’ve gone soft.
Faith Feels Like Falling — And That’s the Point
Real faith isn’t cozy. It’s uncomfortable.
It’s laying hands on the sick and believing for healing.
It’s speaking truth when your voice shakes.
It’s stepping out of the boat while the waves are still crashing.
Neuroscience even backs it up: fear and excitement register the same in your body.
Your brain calls it danger. Heaven calls it destiny.
Faith isn’t faith until your stomach drops.
So how do you break free from spiritual stagnation?
“I’m not qualified.”
“Stay in your lane.”
“Don’t rock the boat.
2. Ask the Holy Spirit:
“What do You want me to do today? Where do You want me to go?”
Then move — no excuses, no negotiating.
Because heaven moves the moment you do.
God’s will isn’t stuck. We are.
The moment you step out of comfort and into obedience, you’ll discover that breakthrough isn’t as far away as you think.

We are called to rise—To live with fire in our bones. To walk in holy confidence. To move in purpose, passion & power.
This is not a spectator faith.
It’s an invitation to boldness, breakthrough and becoming.
